Stress Blocks Your Success

And what I’ve learned, both personally and through years of practice, is that the body is always listening for cues that tell it: you’re safe now. One of the fastest pathways we have to that part of the brain is through scent — because smell goes directly into the limbic system, where emotional memory lives.

I know this firsthand. As someone who has experienced anxiety and panic, I’ve had moments where I could feel it building… that familiar wave of overwhelm rising. And in those moments, I’ve learned to work with my system instead of against it.
